IO5 RED Platform Sustainability Study

To ensure the continuation of the RED platform beyond the life of the project, a sustainability study will be carried out among the partners to investigate how the platform with learning resources and information can and will be used in the partner countries after the end of the Erasmus+ funding.

The first business plan should be made with a special focus on the financial and workload estimates required for the RED platform after the project has ended, including an investigation of future sponsorship (funds, government grants, volunteers, etc.). The RED platform needs to be transferred from an Erasmus+ project to an organisation that will update, use and eventually continue to exist as an important tool that can be used by current but also future users who wish to improve their basic literacy and by mentors as a guiding and potentially guiding tool.

Therefore, the sustainability study should collect and analyse data, identify risks and opportunities, and develop a business plan or model. This activity should also clearly identify the nature and amount of resources needed to maintain the RED platform in the future.

In addition to the planned research and investigation, partners will use the Business Canvas model as an additional tool for analysis and planning. This model should be read and used in conjunction with the sustainability study itself.
