Kick off meeting

The Kick-off meeting of our new RED project * Reinforce Europeans Digital, literacy and numeracy skills * took place on 26 and 27 October at our office in Burgh-Haamstede (NL) by PRO WORK, the proud head partner of this consortium.

Partners from Slovenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy and Spain discussed all the activities to be carried out, such as selecting the stakeholders and the target group, setting up a needs survey among this target group and experts.

The purpose of this needs assessment is to find out exactly what the target group needs when it comes to lagging behind in language / computing and digital skills.

For this, at least 5 in-depth interviews with stakeholders are taken place per country. It is also intended that a baseline test will be developed to tackle people who have difficulty with literacy, numeracy and digital skills. For this target-group we develop an easy to use platform with learning methodology in scripts and videos.

Last but not least, a sustainable study on the continuation of the RED platform after the project's lifetime of expansion and especially for maintenance, because nothing is as a subject to change as websites or organizations, so displayed websites and explanations of organizations included in the platform will have to be continuously updated
